Free Friday Wallpaper: BOKEH

January 22, 2010

After the explosion in popularity of the Color Theory Reference Poster (and wallpaper), this Free Friday wallpaper has a tough act to follow. I’ve been dealing a lot with muted colors, so I think that’s why Mr. Bokeh here is super bright – needed to get that out of my system. Bokeh has been proving quite popular these days too, so I hope you enjoy, share & subscribe to the RSS feed!

It’s Friday! The start of the weekend, when we can remove ourselves from our desks and be free! To commemorate this occasion, here is the Paper Bird wallpaper. He lives on your desktop, but on the weekends he’s free to fly away and go see his brother Rob down in Texas. Enjoy, share & subscribe to the RSS feed!

I’ve always liked the word “build”. To me, it has obvious connotations of creativity, but also of hard work – and there’s something ultimately rewarding in creating something that took a lot of work. I also enjoyed the scene in Napoleon Dynamite where they used the phrase “build a cake”. Thus, this week’s Free Friday Wallpaper is all about inspiring you to get out there and build something – whether it be a killer website, a sweet patio, an igloo (if you’re from where I’m from) – whatever you like. Enjoy, share and subscribe to the RSS feed!
