Yes, another Friday, which makes us all happy I bet. That’s why this guy, in this week’s wallpaper, is so happy. It’s Friday! Well, that and he’s standing under a rainbow, which is always pretty sweet. As well, I gotta give props to my man Kevin over at No Rush On That, who makes a killer monster illustration every Friday. Enjoy, share and subscribe to the RSS feed!

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking “Well, that Jeff guy is handsome, but he’s not so smart. Trees can’t float!”. But the joke is on YOU! Because this wallpaper is of a Floating Tree in an alternate dimension where trees float and clouds hang out on the ground. True story. Anyway, enjoy, share and subscribe to the RSS feed!

Today’s Free Friday Wallpaper is both a play on words AND elegant. So when your friend hacks into your computer, they’ll see this wallpaper and think to themselves “Well, lookit Frank here. He’s both witty and elegant. Should I really change his Facebook status to something his parents will see and find awkward/overly revealing?”

He probably will anyway, but at least this wallpaper will have delayed him by a few seconds, potentially giving you the time to thwart his Facebook hi-jinks. Anyway, feel free to share and subscribe to the RSS feed!

Welcome to what I believe to be the final installment of the typography-based series of free Friday Wallpapers. Don’t worry, I’ll still do free wallpapers, but I’m not sure entirely what kind next. I’m thinking a calendar one, once a month, come January – but as for weekly, I have no idea. Too many deadlines these days!

Anyway, this week’s is Georgia (regular). The challenge here was to take a font seen all over the place – a font that’s sort of bland – and make it interesting as the sole item in the design. I think it worked! Enjoy, share and subscribe to the RSS feed!

I profiled Blackout in my 10 Free & Amazing Display Fonts article, and decided to use it for this week’s Free Friday Design Wallpaper. Why? Because I’m predictable like that. Anyway, hope you enjoy this week’s version – the thought process was Black = dark, and Blackout = a city without power. Dig it!
