Kunitz Shoes is a well-known, family-run shoe business in Edmonton with multiple locations. After taking the reigns from their parents, the owners of Kunitz commissioned us to create a new website along with a print campaign that reflected their youthfulness, creativity & unique products.
Print: Working in tandem with the client, we created a variety of advertisements for summer & fall campaign. These advertisements showcased the product effectively, while reflecting the youthful nature of Kunitz with truly unique and eye-catching designs. As well, the advertisements fall in line with the new branding of the website.
Web: Part of what makes Kunitz so loved in the city is the fact they are a customer-first, family-owned business. We wanted to embrace that with the new website, building in blog functionality for the client to write behind-the-scenes articles that helped their customers feel even more like they were part of the Kunitz experience. An additional benefit of the blog has been the increased organic traffic to the site due to the clients’ diligence in publishing unique, timely content. The overall site style embraces the new direction by using a warm color palette and bold typography. Built on WordPress, the client can easily update & maintain their site, view statistics and more. Site development was done by Flagship.
