Client: Living Waters Warriors Media: Identity & Print
Living Waters is a private school/academy in Spruce Grove. We were approached to create a new identity for their sports teams, dubbed the Warriors. The client expressed a desire for a logo that captured the spirit of their teams and the reason they chose the name warriors: a never-give-up sense of unity.
The other challenge in this project was creating an identity that appealed to everyone from kindergarten to junior high, parents to coaches, teachers & administrative staff. Plus, it couldn’t look overly aggressive or violent.
The end result is a modern combination of sword/shield and typography that utilizes modern sports logo styling: strokes, arches and depth. This identity can be broken down into type-only and symbol-only versions, which can be seen on the print collateral, and has been replicated everywhere from t-shirts to gymnasium floors to embroidery.
